Septic System Inspection

Septic system inspection by a licensed professional engineer.  Evaluation of septic system system capacity to meet the needs of the household.  Performance of a septic system dye test to inspect for day-lighting issue of waste to meet environmental and  New York State Department of Health codes 75-A and local code compliance.

Mapping and Drawing Services

High precision mapping and site development with Trimble TSC2 and 5600 total station.  Providing technical drawings for new residential construction with grading contour lines to establish proper storm water mitigation.   

Operation and Maintenance

Providing O&M for pump stations, advanced septic system treatment components, time dosing, alarms, floats and control panels.

Residential and Commercial Building Design

Preforming commercial and residential building design for additions and new sites.  Working with owner to put their dream homes to paper.  Preparing home design renderings to meet the NYS building and energy codes.  Assistance with estimating and contracting selection.  Permitting assistance and site plot planning.  Makron Engineering provides sealed engineered drawings to customers upon completion of design.

Do you have unsealed (unstamped) plans but need to move ahead to obtain your project permit? We do not provide  “plan stamping” on drawings created by a third party as it is a violation of any architect’s or engineer’s license. Why? Because the plans were not designed and completed from the start by the architect or engineer who will be taking the legal responsibility for the design and safety of the house. States believe that if an architect or engineer just looks over a set of plans for five minutes, such a cursory review is not sufficient to determine whether or not the plans, the design, and the building structure that will enclose and protect your family are actually correct. Remember, the state laws for licensed architects and engineers are established to “protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.” If you need sealed plans, go back to the plan service from which you purchased the plans, to see if they provide sealed plans. Or, contact Makron Engineering to reproduce your plan. We will evaluate and rework your plans to assure your project follows the most recent NYS building codes and provide a sealed engineered drawing upon completion.
